Trust Me — You Need This Stuff for Quarantine

2020… who knew we’d all be stuck in bed for months? I surely never thought it would come to this. I have been *trying* my best to keep a routine and follow my self care routine normally. I have definitely gone longer than normal without washing my face, washing my clothes, or cleaning; but hey, we’re all in this together right? I’ve compiled a list of all the things keeping me sane during quarantine - things I am actually using. What are you using at home to keep you happy?!

Skin & Body

This is the #1 time for skincare - you don’t have to put on makeup and you have all day to wear face masks and take baths! The OUAI chill pills will make you feel silky smooth and smell amazing; Summer Fridays jet lag mask NEVER disappoints; Laneige lip sleeping mask speaks for itself - my lips have changed since using this; and the Playa hair masque is perfect for days you are washing your hair - just put it in and let it soak for awhile before your shower!


Loungewear

Obviously I have not gone anywhere so I have been LIVING in loungewear. Since everybody else in the world is too, a lot of stuff is sold out and selling out by the second. H&M is a great place for sweats - and the Missguided joggers below are amazing; I own a few colors. I have also been obsessing over Urban Outfitters t-shirt dresses, the quality is amazing and I own a few of them! And don’t forget these fluffy slippers - they haven’t left my feet.


Around the House

Some of these items are key in having a cozy quarantine house: Capri Blue candle, milk frother for cappuccinos, my Barefoot Dreams blanket (sold out but I linked a similar one), and my new slip silk pillowcase. I am obsessed with all of these things and I use them everyday even before quarantine!


For Fun

If we’ve learned anything from being in quarantine, it’s that we need to have some fun to stay sane. Whether you are going on daily walks, learning TikTok dances or playing games, it all helps! We have been making lots of puzzles, coloring, playing games, and watching the Harry Potter series.


I could have made this post super long and listed a shit ton of things, but I wanted to keep it short & sweet. I have truly been using these items (almost) every day in quarantine. Use this time to decompress, make a fancy cappuccino, try a face mask, and make a puzzle with a loved one! It’s tough and I know we all want to leave the house, but we shouldn’t take this time for granted. Stay safe & healthy! *Actual gif of me below.
